Acceptable use policy.

The platform exists so organisations can raise support honestly and run themselves well. This policy is the boundary that protects that. It forms part of the terms of service, and by using the platform you agree to it. Last updated 3 August 2026.

What is not allowed

You may not use the platform, or let anyone use your workspace, to:

• Break the law, or infringe anyone's rights, or promote, facilitate or fund unlawful activity of any kind.
• Mislead donors or supporters, fundraising for purposes other than those stated, misrepresenting charitable or regulatory status, fabricating causes, events, outcomes or endorsements, or soliciting under false pretences.
• Abuse the payment features, processing payments for anything other than your organisation's own lawful purposes, testing or laundering payment cards, manufacturing chargebacks, or breaching the rules of the payment networks and providers your account uses.
• Publish harmful content, malware, or content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, violent or sexually exploitative.
• Attack the platform, probing, scanning, disrupting or testing its security without our written permission, accessing another customer's data, or interfering with the service other customers receive.
• Extract what isn't yours, scraping, harvesting or bulk-extracting platform data other than your own organisation's.
• Exploit the platform itself, reselling, sublicensing or white-labelling it, using it to build or feed a competing service, or deliberately circumventing limits, quotas or metering.
• Abuse communications, sending spam, or messages without a lawful basis, through any feature that sends on your behalf.

How we enforce this

Enforcement is proportionate. Where we can, we start with notice and a chance to put things right, and act at the level of the problem, removing a piece of content or suspending a single capability before ever touching a whole workspace. Account-level suspension or termination is the last resort, reserved for serious, repeated or dangerous breaches, and where a breach endangers the platform, other customers or the public, we act first and notify after. Where a breach causes us loss, the terms of service let us recover it.

Reporting a violation

If content on a Port60-powered site is unlawful, infringes your intellectual property, or breaches this policy, report it to [email protected] with a link to the content and enough detail for us to assess it. We review every report; where a claim of infringement is substantiated we remove or disable the content, and repeated infringement is grounds for termination.

As the platform grows this policy will grow with it. Changes are published here and, where material, notified as the terms of service describe.
