Developer agreement.

This agreement is between PORT 60 LTD, trading as Port60, company number 08223558, registered office 9 Bibury Road, Birmingham, England, B28 0HG ("Port60", "we"), and you, a developer with a Port60 developer account. It applies alongside the terms of service and acceptable use policy, and it governs every template you upload. Last updated 2 September 2026. This is an early draft published for transparency while the developer program is in its first phase; it will be refined before the program opens publicly.

1. Your work must be yours

By uploading a template version you warrant that you own it, or hold every licence needed to grant the rights below, including for any fonts, imagery, code fragments and design elements it contains. Uploading someone else's work, in whole or in substantial part, is a breach of this agreement and of the acceptable use policy, and is how developer accounts end.

2. The licence you grant

You keep ownership of your templates. You grant Port60 a non-exclusive licence to host, review, reproduce and distribute uploaded versions for the purposes of the program: validation and review, delivery to the non-profits you designate, marketplace listing where you choose it, and continued serving of any version a non-profit has installed. Non-profits that install your template receive a licence to use it on their Port60 site, not to resell or redistribute it.

3. Review is a gate, not an endorsement

Every template version is reviewed before it can reach a non-profit's site, and we may refuse or withdraw approval at our discretion, including after approval, where a problem comes to light. Review does not transfer responsibility: the warranty in section 1 remains yours.

4. Takedowns and disputes

Rights-holders can ask us to remove infringing work, see the notice-and-takedown policy. Where a claim is upheld, the template is removed and the strike policy applies; repeated upheld claims end the ability to publish. Non-profits already using a removed template are protected: versions they installed keep serving while they migrate.

5. Payments and payouts

Paid templates are sold through the Port60 marketplace. To sell one you must first complete payout onboarding with our payment provider, Stripe. Your share of each sale is the sale price minus Port60's marketplace fee as it stood when the sale was made; the fee that applies to you is shown in your studio. Your share is paid into your Stripe account, and Stripe pays out to your bank on its own schedule. Port60 bears standard card-processing costs out of its fee; any cross-border transfer, currency-conversion or payout charges Stripe applies to your account are yours. Privately commissioned work may still be billed between you and the commissioning non-profit directly.

6. Trials, refunds and reversals

Buyers can try a paid template free for a short period before the purchase completes. A cancelled trial is not a sale, and nothing is paid on it. Once a purchase completes, sales are final for buyers and Port60 does not offer change-of-mind refunds. Where Port60, at its discretion, refunds a purchase because the template is materially broken or not as described, or where a card dispute reverses a payment, the payout for that sale is reversed from your Stripe account, including where that leaves the account with a negative balance to be recovered from later sales. Port60 may return its marketplace fee in these cases but is not required to.

7. Taxes

You are responsible for your own tax affairs, including any income tax and VAT on your marketplace earnings. Where VAT applies to marketplace sales we may operate a self-billing arrangement; we will tell you before any such arrangement starts.
